Vital parameters of the patient are checked and decision is made about whether she needs emergency care.

The transfer summary is checked for signature and stamp of doctor or senior AMO of the referring hospital.

The relatives are available. If not, they are called and told to remain available.

The patient has been issued a casualty paper and has been examined by casualty officer of KEM hospital.

All the old and recent reports and documents are checked.

The transfer register of referring hospital (if brought) is signed by the registrar after doing all the necessary formalities.

Medico legal case is registered in indicated cases.
